How do I join the Discord community?
Use the invite link on the Join page, or send us a message using the form above and we'll get you set up.
Do you still use Slack?
Discord is our main channel. We keep a Slack space open only for international members, since some countries restrict Discord. Ask us for an invite if that is you.
Are events really free?
Yes! All PhilaCon Valley events are completely free. We believe financial barriers shouldn't prevent anyone from learning and growing in tech.
I'm a complete beginner. Can I still attend?
Absolutely! We welcome people at all skill levels. Many of our events are specifically designed for beginners, and we always have folks ready to help.
How can I contribute content or lead a workshop?
We'd love that! Send us a message with your idea, and let's make it happen. Community members leading workshops is exactly what we're about.
